How To - Become Your Own Bestie

Hi my beautiful friend! How are you? I hope you’re doing well. 


If you’re having a tough time connecting with people or finding out who you are meant to be around, it may be time to become your own best friend. But how do you do that?

  1. Keep a journal

If you have a small group of people around you and not everyone is available 24/7, you might be helped to start a journal. Write down what makes you happy, what your day was like and what you would like to accomplish in the next few weeks or days. This will help you to stay motivated and accountable to someone. 


  1. Find out what you like

Through big things and small, like outings or the next trip you’re going to take (be it with a friend or not) find out what it is you like. Your favorite hobbies, colors and foods. You name it. That way you’ll know what to do when it is time for the next step.


  1. Treat yourself

When you have some money available, or energy or time, treat yourself to those very things that you like to do. As often as possible. That way, you are reminded of who you are and what it is you like to do in life.
