Song Review: Regent's Park

Updated: Aug 18, 2023

'No one wants to hear a song about the b* that broke my heart.' And yet you make it so interesting to listen to.

Regent's Park By Bruno Major

Regent's Park is the 4th track on Bruno Majors second album, To Let A Good Thing Die. A beautiful song about a girl that breaks your heart, but is so sweet on the eyes that you can't keep your head clear when you're around her.

What I Like About This Song

It's a gentle song, based of of the melody of 101 Dalmatians A Beautiful Spring Day. Gentle, but the lyrics tell a heartbreaking story that take a couple of listens before you get what Bruno is actually saying. His lyrics have quite a bit of spice and tell the other person exactly how he feels about the fact that she wasn't always having his best interests at heart.

The Album; To Let A Good Thing Die

The rest of the album ties in nicely to this and tells the story of loves lost and found, and the deeper questions in life. Which ends in; sometimes it's time to let a good thing die.

What is your favorite 'heartbreak' song? I would love to hear from you!
